About Us
Our retail store is located on vibrant Corydon Avenue in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; home of the free refill. We opened in May 2002 in a space that was politely described by our customers as unique and exclusive. But when your entire store consists of a hallway obstructed by a pillar, you don’t have much choice. Thinking back to those days, it’s a half-miracle we are still around. But only a half. Because before we had our tiny store, we had a big idea...
That idea was to combine work by top quality artisans in a place that didn’t look like a basement and smell like India. Our goal has always been to seek out the most talented and creative artisans; from communes on Saltspring Island, BC to downtown Los Angeles. Names that don’t mean anything to you but mean the world to us; Marbleslinger, Bonz, Ladydragon, Shockwave, JP, PJ and Phatty (profiled on Canadian TV program ZED) just to namedrop a few.
Combine our unique glassware and our wholesome environment with our charming and personable staff and a trip to City Haul becomes just that: a trip.
